We use a small number of strictly-necessary cookies to sign you in, keep your session secure, and remember your privacy choice. These are required for the product to work and are always on.

Analytics & session replay (opt-in)

With your consent we run PostHog for product analytics, error tracking, and session replay. Session replay records your on-screen interactions and page content — with password fields masked — so we can reproduce and fix bugs. Live room video/audio is not frame-captured.

These are OFF until you choose Accept on the privacy notice. Decline, and PostHog analytics and session replay stay off. To help us keep the service reliable, a limited browser error or connection diagnostic may still be sent to our API and kept in its bounded operational log; when you decline, that diagnostic is not exported to PostHog. The product works the same either way.

Your choice

You pick Accept or Decline the first time you visit. To change your decision, clear the cheers_analytics_consent value in your browser's site data (or your browser's cookie/site settings) and reload — you'll be asked again.

We honor your browser's tracking preferences and never use analytics cookies for advertising. We do not sell your data or serve ads in Cheers.
